Uber drivers will soon be able to rent Tesla and Polestar EVs throughout Europe

Malik | January 17, 2023

As electric vehicles (EVs) continue to gain popularity in Europe, two major car companies, Polestar and Tesla, are now offering rental options for their EVs. This gives drivers the opportunity to experience the benefits of driving an electric car without committing to purchasing one outright.

Polestar, the luxury electric car brand owned by Volvo, recently announced that it will begin renting its Polestar 2 EV in select European cities. The rental program, called “Polestar Direct,” will allow drivers to rent the car for a minimum of 28 days at a time. This will give drivers the opportunity to test drive the car before deciding whether to purchase one.

Tesla, the American electric car maker, has also recently announced plans to expand its rental program in Europe. The program, called “Tesla Fleet,” allows businesses and individuals to rent Tesla EVs for short-term use. This includes the Tesla Model 3, Model S, and Model X.

Both companies are targeting city dwellers who are looking for a convenient and sustainable way to get around. With the increasing popularity of ride-sharing services, these rental programs will allow more people to experience the benefits of driving an electric car without the commitment of owning one.

Drivers in Europe can expect to see these rental options becoming more widely available in the near future, as both Polestar and Tesla continue to expand their presence in the European market. This is good news for those who want to experience the benefits of driving an electric car, but are not yet ready to make the investment in purchasing one.

In conclusion, Polestar and Tesla are now offering rental options for their EVs in Europe, giving more people the opportunity to test drive and experience the benefits of driving electric cars without committing to purchasing one outright. As the demand for EVs continues to grow, we can expect to see more rental options becoming available in the future.
