True Wireless Headphones

Charles.D. | September 11, 2018

Despite the rational part of my brain listing off the potential drawbacks—two little earplugs, independent batteries, constant communication, limited controls, and the challenge of quick removal when juggling work tasks—I couldn’t resist. As a certified tech junkie, I had to have them. The brand? ‘TZUMI Probuds Totally Wireless Earbuds,’ and surprisingly, they’re not bad at all.

Sure, they may lack some of the bells and whistles of their pricier counterparts, but they hold their own. Decent highs, reasonable lows, okay bass, and sound isolation that comes in handy, especially in the hustle and bustle of New York. Admittedly, they snug into your ears like most earplugs, but hey, that’s part of the package.

Now, I get it, prices vary, and you usually get what you pay for. I’ve perused reviews for the more expensive options, but here’s the thing: I tend to misplace things—a lot. So, I prefer gadgets like this to be disposable. It’s a personal preference that keeps my tech addiction in check.

If you’re intrigued and want to dip your toes into the wireless earbud realm without breaking the bank, the TZUMI Probuds are worth a shot. Staples has them priced at around $35, making them an accessible entry point for those curious about the wireless earbud experience. Give them a go and see if they’re the right fit for your tech-loving lifestyle.
